Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory and Biorepository
The Wisconsin Lab is a federally certified laboratory (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments number 52D0921062) specializing in acute and chronic human viral infections. Currently the diagnostic tests offered by WVRG focus on the leukotropic human herpesviruses (cytomegalovirus, human herpesvirus six, human herpesvirus seven and Epstein-Barr virus) and on human enteroviruses. Methods used range from classic viral isolation procedures to advanced molecular based techniques.
